§     My main responsibility was to build a system for Vietnamese optical character recognition (OCR). I have developed algorithms for document image pre-processing, character segmentation, character feature extraction and recognition. I have designed and implemented the VnDOCR software, currently being the top OCR software for printed Vietnamese (Vietnam Science and Technology Innovative (VIFOTEC) top prize for IT product in 1999, best specialized IT product award in 2003 by PC World Vietnam) http://www.vndocr.com/
